This guy sure got fed up going around au naturelle, so that when he made an  astounding discovery he grabbed it and lo, how it fits!  There is a quirky plot that makes this film highly interesting and engaging.  So the guy gets hanged for not taking the pants off,   very tragic ending. But  maybe what seeps in more deeply into the psyche of viewers  would be the gist of the story, that  being different can get you persecuted  but for the sake of  the man, he never did regretted  his decision, not for one single moment.  Entertaining and with a film scoring that's impressive!
