Firstly the use of sound and music in this film is incredible. The sound effects and music plays such an integral part in the beautiful aesthetics of the film. All the shots and imagery are precise and beautiful but also reflect the coldness and darkness that are the characters and story. Chan-wook Park manages to isolate the protagonist (India Stoker) but also makes the audience empathize and feel for her character. It's brutal but also subtle which makes for an intriguing watch. This film definitely has the style we are used to from Chan-wook Park but with "Stoker" he steps up to a whole new level.
