Star-Crossed Love Synopsis

College senior Intoy (Edgar Allan Guzman) is unwittingly fallen into a friend-with-benefits situation with his mysterious classmate Jenny (Mercedes Cabral). Jenny has a reputation for being promiscuous, and Intoy plays aloof to hide the fact that he’s fallen in love with her. This coming of age film definitely appeals to the younger generation of local viewers.  The story is about a young man Intoy  who engages on a secret sexual relationship with classmate Jenny. Edgar Allan Guzman as Intoy is disarmingly cute and charming while Mercedes Cabral fits her role as Jenny to a T.  With Guzman more popular being a mainstream local actor, it's no doubt that Cabral should be given more juicier mainstream roles in the future, as she has been consistently making her mark in the indie scene.  Based on a novel by Eros Atalia, this film has funny and witty dialogues and some realistic jabs on present-day youth concerns.
