Two separate stories, presented in an original and novel dramatic form, seem to have nothing in common and yet they complement each other. A man and a woman who are young and expect a lot from life learn about each other and about being together. At the same time they feel different, a little lost and unfit for the life in society. A middle-aged man working in a shoe factory for many years, tired with the routine of his life, decides to take radical steps, both at work and at home. The paths of all three individuals cross at one point in time.
