Like all Jackie Chan movies, Shinjuku Incident did not fail to depict reality and drama that envelops every struggle that it encounters. The fight scenes are just so intense that sometimes I do not look - I have little tolerance for bloody scenes. The cast portrayed the characters so convincingly that it made me wonder if the plot is based on a true event. The ending is so dramatic and disappointing - but in a good way.
