There are two colonies; One here, on Earth and the other on Mars. There is a huge war going on between them, as Mars is basically stripping Earth of it's wealth. The whole planet has become a baron waste land. The story centres around a Martian pilot fighter, who crash landed on Earth. After getting into a few scrapes he soon realises that the war on both sides is controlled by Mars for profit.
