When Ludo (Til Schweiger), a forty-something womanizer, is sentenced to do community service at a local day care center and meets Anna (Nora Tschirner), a slightly awkward wallflower, who he used to bully in school, they continue their mocking from primary school days. When they finally develope a better relationship - and realize that they feel attracted to eachother - things become even more complicated. "Rabbit without Ears" is a shallow feel-good comedy about how men and women can (or cannot) be just friends. The appearance of many of Germany's most famous actors and celebrities, the good performance of Nora Tschirner and especially the extraordinary soundtrack partly make up for the cookie-cutter plot.
