This is the heartwarming story of a girl Meng who shows the neighborhood kids that being a girl doesn't mean that she should be treated in such an inferior manner.  A major focus on this movie is the game of patintero, wherein two competing group of kids need to cross lines and return to their homebase without being touched by the opposing group. Patintero is just one of the many local kids' games that are becoming unpopular these days with the onset of computer games and other online gaming thanks to more advanced technologies. But patintero, along with other games passed on from the earlier generations of Pinoys have long been regarded to teach lessons like sportsmanship, honesty and critical thinking, just as it is with the usual physical sports. Other than the game itself, this movie also touches on issues like friendship, family values and gender equality, among others.  The lead cast were commendable and this is a must-see not only for kids but for parents as well.
