Pure trashy fun from the part-time master of slick arthouse trash himself, Brian De Palma. Sit back and let the outrageous plot and gaudy costumes and sets wash over you like a wave of cheap pot pourri. I wondered if the actresses were aware of his 'other' previous films, such as 'Body Double' and 'The Fury', because this is much more in keeping with the audacity of those lesser known works than his maturer efforts such as 'Carlitos Way' and 'The Untouchables'. If Noomi and Rachel were expecting something along those lines, then they need to fire their agents! Still, a lot of fun to watch, and kudos to 'Berlin 36's Karoline Herfurth, who manages to out-ham everyone else.
