Well, if you go in with low expectations, you won't be disappointed. The production values are way up there with beautifully photographed alpine scenery and a suitably claustrophobic underground lair, and the performances are game despite a ho-hum script. The problem is the story, it is something you'd expect from a 90's straight-to-video monster flick. All the cliches are here and I sussed the big 'twist' five minutes in. As for the horror element, it is far too underplayed. Still, it's an entertaining and diverting way to spend 90 minutes. Half the reason I watched it was for Michelle Yeoh and she gets a good innings.
