After an absence spanning decades George Miller returns to the franchise that made him his name and boy oh boy is the wait worthwhile! The film has gathered stella reviews and is considered a contender for the Best Picture Award at the Oscars. The cinematography is amazing, cast brilliant and a surprisingly strong storyline the film makes for rollercoaster viewing from start to end as the audience are drawn into the dystopian world wonderfully created by Miller. Hardy also does a great job stepping into Gibson's role of the titular Max. We can only hope that Australia continues to produce films of this calibre.
