Lucy, 4:57 PM does well to place a microscope over a young girl's first experience with heartbreak. The film focuses on Lucy, a young girl on the cusp of running away with her older lover, and photography teacher.    Well planned around it's 11 minute running time, this short encapsulates the young lead's excitement and anticipation for her first step into adulthood. It's close intimacy with Lucy during this experience can leave you feeling slightly unattached from any other elements of the character. But ultimately, this short does very well to pick what emotions it wants to capture and succeeds in doing so.
