Typical Jackie Chan slapstick humor is at play here alongside emotional clashes of two characters who started as mortal enemies but ended on a more positive note. Entertaining although I am more used to present-day Jackie Chan characters. Impressive performances and I think that Chan and Wang Leehom has great chemistry. Surprised to know that Leehom is a popular singer in Taiwan aside from being an actor and filmmaker.  As always, Chan never fails to surprise his legions of fans. In this movie he not stars as a farmer/foot soldier but he's also the action director, producer and screenwriter.  This guy never fails to amaze viewers all over the world!
