Except for the mother-daughter duo of Maria Isabel Lopez and Mara Lopez, there weren't recognizable faces in this film and more so, in terms of acting performances. Even Mara Lopez as Vina, a lesbian, lacks in depth of character. While the film explores same-sex relationships and hopes to raise the bar in terms of lesbians and gays, what were more noticeable were the erotic scenes. There is an attempt to make the viewers arrive at a profound understanding with regard the struggles of the characters but the lack in acting depth somehow drowned it over.
