The Jordanian city of Mafraq, located at the crossroads of Syria and Iraq, has seen its population explode in recent years due to a massive influx of Syrian refugees. With help from its local partners, the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) has been working to protect the employment of locals whilst creating new opportunities for refugees.
