I like the symbolisms played up in this film, notice how Haname's fave Milo sludge drink resembles a lot like the water in a swamp? Lead star Kumiko Aso as Haname takes this story of a girl hounded by bad luck to a new level and save for some quite boring scenes because of dragging dialogues,  she gives color and spice to the movie.  Ryo Kase who portrays Gus also has his shining moments and I was entertained by the interactions between these two characters.  I suggest you give it a watch  as it do has some great learnings on seeing the good side of things as well as of self-discovery.
