I Am Sam Synopsis

Sam has the mental capacity of a 7-year-old. He has a daughter with a homeless woman who abandons them when they leave the hospital, leaving Sam to raise Lucy on his own. This is one of those rare films that really made me cry when I watched it. Can you imagine a drama film with the stars Sean Penn, Dakota Fanning and my idol, Michelle Pfeiffer? It was a very touching and at the same time heartbreaking film by Jessie Nelson. Sean Penn did an impeccable job portraying a mentally challenged father for a little girl. If you’re going to watch this film, you better ready yourself to shed some tears. I love the film. Just 5 stars!!!
