This film may take a keen symbologist's eye to fully appreciate. How to Make a Nightmare does not accurately portray nightmares. Instead, it focuses on how a nightmare scientist falls in love with a victim. The film, however, failed to make the viewer feel the emotion/s of love while watching the main character. Despite this, the film is still worth watching more than once to unlock the rich symbolism embedded in it.
