This is an excellent and really refreshing film. I can't believe it's taken this long for films like this to be made, that aren't low-budget indie films with drugs subplots aplenty and suicides and negative elements aplenty - it is a love story that addresses the past yet looks to the future with its chin held up high. Retro but in a god way, and Guy Pearce was a pleasant surprise. Loved it.
