Gangsters also have a conscience. Hero will keep viewers absorbed with its excellent script and plot. The script pleasantly disrupts its dominantly poignant tone with humor. While, the plot showcases the realities of gangster living in Singapore during the 80s that is all shocking, interesting, and believable. Despite below average fight scenes and little to no prosthetic make-up, Hero's well-written script and plot gives it a solid 4 stars.
