Engaging and well-sequenced scenes!  The musical scoring was commendable as well as the cinematography but while watching it viewers are kinda confused why the title is Hawaii when there is no indication that the scenes are in Hawaii.  However, this is beautifully revealed in the latter part of the movie, and that toy from the '80s where one can view pictures from a disc-like material inserted into the camera-like toy brings back fond memories of the '80s era. It's also an important thing for both of the characters. A bucolic yet heartwarming movie that explores gay romance and friendship, among others.  Better check this out!
