Glamour, royalty and a sea of tears: "Grace of Monaco" delivers a sentimental portrayal of the Princess in her darkest hour, 1962. Monaco's sovereignty is threatened by France; her marriage is on the rocks; on top of that, she is offered an opportunity to come back to Hollywood, a thing she secretly craved all this time. Despite adding a lot of dramatic flare to the events, the film still lacks a bit of cinematic depth. However, it is very watchable as an elegant, stylish summer flick.
