Garuda is a mythical flying being from Hindu and Southeast Asian mythology. This majestic creature was the vessel of Narayana in Thai. But in this Thai action sci-fi movie the flying creature becomes a beast that creates havoc in the city of Bangkok as it is awakened by on-going development in the city. A half blood Thai scientist and the commander of special forces teamed up to suppress the creature and tries to destroy it before it destroys the whole city. The intelligence and abilities of the Garuda are above the expectations of the military and scientists. Its a battle of wits more than gun power. The films special effects put a realistic touch to the enormity of the creature and its abilities.
