The best in the series, which is not really saying much but anyway... the cast are all game, the gore (courtesy of kayro maestro Tom Savini - 'Maniac') deliciously yucky, and the lensing and production design create a satisfyingly balmy evening of unease, punctured by some impressive stunts. The teens are genuinely likeable in that way lovestruck morons can be, and Kimberly Beck and Corey Feldman make a refreshing duo to root for. All you can ask for in an American slasher film, done well.
