I really wasn't expecting much when I went to see Frances Ha but it ended up being my favourite film last year. It is impossible not to love Greta Gerwig's character. Everyone can relate to Frances and the movie explore themes which are personal to everyone. The movies stylistics pay homage to the French New Wave which is one of the most unique film movements and it's a movie that you can watch multiple times without getting bored (trust me).
