A young musician hires an investigator to help him discover the identity of a sinister stalker who has been sending him death threats. \r\n\r\nProbably one of Argento’s wackiest films, Four Flies on Grey Velvet is at times quite scary, but more often funny, becoming absurdly ridiculous as the film progresses - any sense of a logical plot is eventually dispensed with altogether. This perhaps adds to our enjoyment of this fun giallo parody, however, in which Argento invites us to laugh at the genre conventions many of his films helped to establish.
