The black and white scenes are impressive and although most of the scenes take place indoors the viewers won't hardly notice because attention is mostly drawn to the actors. This adaptation of the Bolodin 1958 play with the same title has its simple charms along with commendable acting performances especially by lead actress Lyudmila Gurchenko who plays the role of Tamara.
