Not quite clear what led the young man to become feral-like at all but judging from his actuations and  habits  he seems to be manifesting a deeply troubled personality.  The young man ultimately goes deep into the woods and coexists  with a supposed  wild dog (but which obviously is a trained dog, as can be observed).  He seems to accept his  newfound routine quite comfortably but when the wild dog gets shot down by a hunter he  seems to have realized something and goes back home. The young man's actions of rubbing his face with the blood from the wounded dog and rubbing the girl's back with his face, are very feral and animal-like.  Quite interesting but viewers will also find it dull and dragging at times,  as there isn't really interesting dialogues to get by.  Still, this is worth checking out.
