Escape is hounded by an incoherent script and by scenes that drag on too long. Escape deals with the relationship of a grandson with his grandfather and his sister. Their relationships are established by scenes of daily interaction. These interactions are not coherent and viewers will be left wondering what the film is trying to say. Despite this, the film has its fair share of day to day humor.
