This is a very disturbing movie mixing internalised homophobia (manifesting as prejudice and violence) and masculinity in a world where homosexuality is not accepted. A mixture of jealousy, sexual arousal, bullying and violence makes this film a definite one to watch. The sexual confusion of the protagonist, Len, mixed with his need to assert his masculinity to be "accepted" end up with the finale of the film being so powerful, disturbing and moving. I thought the cinematography was excellent, although some of the flashbacks/flash forwards were confusing, as was the acting.
