It's a dog eats dog world out there. This for me quite sums up the gist of the movie. Viewers will not only see real dogs being hunted, killed, cooked and eaten but there are characters that exhibit animal-like traits, too.  Small time politics, corruption, intimidation; these are some of the issues indicated in the movie. Acting performances are commendable, with Ricky Davao extraordinary in his role, as always. He is one of the veteran supporting actors who have slowly made a name for himself throughout the years, positioning himself as a bankable dramatic actor not only in movies but in television prime time shows as well.
