The experience of young sweet love and the confusing emotions that go with it are depicted brilliantly in the story. Sharon's right, the musical score is as sweet as the two young ladies and the story itself. Love comes in all shapes and sizes. What's important is to feel and experience love (in all shapes and sizes).
