The film that got me hooked on European cinema and one you can use to choose your friends by. Caught it on a random evening in the late 90s when Channel 4 used to show interesting movies (who remembers  Moviedrome!) Get your friends to watch it and convert them too! The directors best work? Maybe. Rupert Everett's best performance. Surely. A classic? Definitely
