Rintaro, a factory worker, meets Rinko, a girl who is the spitting image of the beloved Ibuki who lives with him. This encounter between Rintaro and a nightclub hostess helps to relieve their loneliness. As they become closer, Rintaro gets frustrated by the fact that he never gets the exclusive attention of Rinko. Rintaro dresses up Ibuki, changes her hair style, and puts her makeup on, calling her "Rinko". Ibuki is a doll, a love doll, shaped just like a real female body.
