Wacky and totally hilarious! Considered as one of the rare Georgian films to have impressive cinematography, this movie, more than anything else, tackles very serious issues of bureaucracy and a fitting allegory of the Soviet Union system. One of the strengths of the film is definitely the remarkable dialogues and it has been continuously compared to Beckett's play," Waiting for Godot" because of its tragicomedy-style.  Blue Mountains screenplay is based on a book by Revaz Cheiszvili, a brilliant writer.  Highly recommended to watch!
