A time when human rights was not recognized,  a time when oppression was the main theme. They had to negotiate for their wages, bath house; they had to live in a cooped up apartment. This documentary is a eye opener, revealing the intensity and gravity of the life before technology. The sacrifices these workers made that brought industrialization to its  finest point today. The cinematography was perfectly done. Nils Clauss is a true artist, an epitome of excellence. It gives the story life and it makes empathy truer.
