This is a very sad love story. A reluctant man and a rejected author trying to find comfort and love in each other. The cinematography captured the beauty of Shanghai at different times of the day. The musical scoring was just right for the pacing and languid attitudes of the characters or at least the male protagonist. This short has promise. But that’s the magic of short films, leaving the audience wanting for more.
