This film is a second team-up of Tautou and director Salvadori after the movie Priceless, and like the previous one, it's a light comedy genre with a touch of love and romance. I found a handful of colorful characters in this film aside of course from Tautou as Emilie, she is funny in her own way. Baye as her mother is an interesting character; heartbroken and can't still accept the fact that her husband left her for a younger girl; Bouajila as Jean the anonymous letter writer was outstanding and expressive; Paulette as the nervous receptionist at Emilie's hair salon was also an attention-getter for her queer character. There are scenes that had me laughing out loud, like that scene where Emilie visited Jean at his apartment. This is a fun movie to watch with your family or loved one on a weekend.
