  • Loved it! And there are plenty of good reasons to watch this film. 1. It won the Audience Choice award at the 2009 Sundance film festival which is always a good sign. 2. The screenplay is written by Nick Hornby so you can expect some great lines. 2. Carey Mulligan convincing performance in her first major role 3. Alfred Molina, who plays Jenny's father 4. Great soundtrack a mix of jazz, 60s pop songs and French vibes and including Your Heart Is As Black As Night' by Melody Gardot 5. The film catches very well the era of the 1960's
