Mongolian Couch showcases the advantages of opening oneself to different cultures and peoples. Begzsuren allow visitors from all over the world to interact with and influence his family. Due to this, he has benefited from modern ideas in a backward social environment. As a documentary, Mongolian Couch fails to interestingly present these benefits to viewers. Moreover, some parts of the film could've been emphasized more such as the education of Begzsuren's children by foreigners.
