An unexpected one this, I was pleasantly surprised. A low budget mumblecore-ish indie with excellent chemistry between the leading women. The sweltering heat of the locations really comes across, you can't help but come under its sweltering spell. The topic of suicide in the family is delicately handled, and curiously goes hand in hand with the resulting romance. A sensitive look at bicuriosity and lesbian relationships, I look forward to seeing what the director comes up with next. This is a really thoughtful debut.
