A lovely film about an old-fashioned South Italian family at war with itself over a son who has come out as gay. Lots of stereotypes are made of fun of in a light-hearted way, and there are some pleasant surprises in store from some of the more rigid elder characters of the Cantone clan. What I also really liked about this film was the sumptuous cinematography, with some beautiful fashions and gratuitous food shots on display. Perfect viewing with some vino rosso!
