This film depicts not only the sacred rituals of  Thai people but also about one gay person's  devotion and love for another man.   Krit's  affection for Win is definitely way beyond the physical level but the question is whether  the latter actually treasures it in return.   As a country with a great tradition and affinity for water-based rituals,  viewers will come to appreciate more the depth and meaning of this movie.  It's not just another LGBT film per se from what I understand, but rather there is  that deeper yearning for a meditation and spiritual connection where it concerns true and genuine love.  The mix of traditional and modern Thai music that was used in this film was outstanding.
