Out in the Dark was a little out of my wheelhouse but I checked it out after reading some great reviews. This intimate, socially relevant story of forbidden romance comfortably met my expectations, moving into some truly intense territory in its second half. Michael Mayer, you are officially forgiven for killing those poor kids on Halloween night.
