A film with the best intentions, I can't remember the last time I saw a film which is essentially a Lifetime TV movie get such an A-list cast. The narrative takes us through the motions, a wholly expected difficult watch, while an intriguing sub-plot involving Kate Bosworth's own struggle is but a whisper. It does what it says on the tin, and will move most people to tears, but I wanted more.
