One of those 'punk' films that gets it wrong very early on, by casting the wrong lead to play the punk. Handsome Kevin Azais' screaming into his microphone is so laughably unconvincing, it would be alright if it were just a one-off amateur effort, yet we are supposed to believe that he headlines a band that gets crowds roaring with approval. I wasn't convinced. The only one who comes off with credibility is Monia Chokri as a woman grappling with her place as her surrogate family combusts. It is she who pulls us along.
