Yves Montand plays a billionaire who gets mixed up in the casting process of an off-broadway play where he must literally, but not quite, play himself in another Cukor classic. Marilyn Monroe is the object of his affection and doesn't quite steal the show as she usually does, mainly because Montand, who couldn't speak a word of English when he agreed to star, is her perfect foil. Their comic timing together, and chemistry, is what makes this a must-watch.
