Oh gawd. The first half hour of this is s real snooze fest, helped in no part by an embarrassing performance by Chris Pratt, serving Charlotte Gainsbourg in Independence Day: Resurgence levels of gawping and mouth-gaping. Terrible. Stick to the wisecracks and buddy-comedy Chris, nobody wants to see you acting on your own. Jenny Lawrence comes aboard to prop him up, and they have some okay chemistry, but it is too little too late. It isn't all Pratt's fault, (or his agent's), essentially the script is very seen it all before and adds nothing new to one of cinema's most exciting genres. The directing is dull. Cool swimming pool scene. That's about it. Oh! Almost forgot. The production design is bloody amazing.
