I'm in the minority here but this is probably the best in the Die Hard series behind the first film, mainly because of the location - a whistlestop tour of some of NYC's lesser known or visited locations - and the wonderful offering in the villain department: namely a devilishly good Jeremy Irons, ably accompanied by cement-would-melt-in-her-mouth Slav-bot Sam Phillips. Oh yes, and Samuel L Jackson! On top form as always, the chemistry between him and Brucie is aces.
