I sense loneliness in the character of Nyura  especially during that flashback scene showing her newly-married to her husband and in contrast to the present domestic life that she has with him. The chance for romance with another man presents itself during her trek to the city but she is admirable for the presence of mind and logic that prevailed within her.  The suppressed feelings can be felt for just an instant and viewers will generally be engrossed with the charming story even as it ends with viewers experiencing a sense of sympathy for Nyura and an air of anxiety.
